A significant part of a quality educational experience is exploring interests and becoming involved in activities that supplement the academic offerings of the school. Grand Haven High School is second to none when it comes to the quality of the arts program. The district has a long history of award-winning programs in vocal music, instrumental music, drama and the visual arts. The choir, band and orchestra are the best in the state, while student visual arts portfolios provide an excellent foundation for future opportunities in the art field. The fall play and spring musical offers those students with an interest in the theater a venue to perform in top quality stage productions.
In addition to the arts, there are extensive opportunities for each student to join an organization or activity that best meets his or her personal needs while building character, teaching leadership, and developing teamwork skills. Grand Haven High School is proud to offer over 50 clubs and organizations for students to become involved - whether it be in Science Olympiad, the Human Rights Coalition, DECA or Model United Nations ... there is truly something for everyone!
